Update: Repeater returned to service on 8/23/2022 August 18, 2022. The Pickens DMR repeater is off the air due to an internal failure. The repeater is being sent to Motorola for warranty repairs. Motorola could not provide an estimated repair time for this SCHEART partner repeater.
The upgrade of the statewide microwave network continues to affect the SCHEART repeater system. Work at all sites should be completed by November and normal connectivity restored. The Barnwell VHF repeater experienced an issue with the power amplifier on the morning of April 14, 2022. The repeater is on the air with reduced power output until Engineering can resolve the issue with the power amplifier. SCHEART support ticket number 288 has been opened on the issue.
