Conference Bridge maintenance is being conducted on the North Carolina C-Bridge to increase its capacity. This has required connections to TAC1, TAC310, and BrandMeister (DCI) talk groups to be shut down while reprogramming is being accomplished. PRN system users can still access these talk groups but their conversations are restricted to only PRN repeaters. As of noon Friday, the North Carolina bridge administrator projects restoration of full talk group service will occur early next week.
Also, the Dillon DMR is back. Lightning took out power to the equipment located at the 1500 foot platform level. WPDE engineers had to replace several hundred feet of conduit/cabling to restore power thus the extended outage. A big thanks to the engineering staff and WPDE.
