SCHEART Charitable Foundation Launched

Tom Fletcher, N2RZ, announced the formation of a charitable organization, SCHEART Inc., which will provide supplementary funding for the SCHEART VHF, UHF and DMR systems in South Carolina. Any funding or contributions will be used to enhance the amateur radio networks that are vital to emergency response in South Carolina. A three member board, with Tom as the Chairman was formed. Roger Mull, KD4JQJ will serve as Secretary and COL Gene Retske, W4DSN, will be the Treasurer of the organization. SCHEART has applied for IRS 501(c)(3) status, which will make any contributions tax deductible. For further information, contact Tom Fletcher, email fletcher176@gmail.com.
