A new DMR repeater has joined the SCHEART network. The N4JBM DMR repeater is located West of Landrum, SC and will provide enhanced coverage east of Greenville, and west of Rock Hill. The repeater output frequency is 440.7125 MHz and the input is 445.7125 MHz with a color code of 1.
UPDATE 4/27/2023: The Columbia Downtown repeater is back on the air at the new location which is in West Columbia. It’s name will not change since it is the repeater closest to downtown. Update: Repeater returned to service on 8/23/2022 August 18, 2022. The Pickens DMR repeater is off the air due to an internal failure. The repeater is being sent to Motorola for warranty repairs. Motorola could not provide an estimated repair time for this SCHEART partner repeater.
The KI4RAX DMR repeater located in Lugoff has joined the SCHEART DMR network. The repeater output frequency is 441.800 MHz with an input frequency of 446.800 MHz. The upgrade of the statewide microwave network continues to affect the SCHEART repeater system. Work at all sites should be completed by November and normal connectivity restored. Barnwell Analog and Digital repeaters have returned to service As of June 11 at 8:30 AM, the Barnwell Analog and Digital repeaters are down due to a lighting strike at the facility. SCETV is onsite working the issues and hope to be able to restore operation shortly.
The Pickens DMR repeater is back on the SCHEART network after installing a new network connection to the site. It is anticipated the new connection will be more reliable. A big thanks to the crew at Pickens!
