SCEMD has requested SCHEART support the 2024 “All Shook Up” State Full Scale Exercise . This requires SCHEART repeaters to be linked from 0830 to 1700 on March 12 and 13th. These two days directly support state and county agencies along with communication units and AUXCOMM member training. Then on March 16 from 0830 until 1500 the network will be linked to support ARES/RACES/AUXCOMM training. During these training periods, amateur operators are free to monitor the frequencies and may participate during open nets but should refrain from using the system if not supporting the exercise activities. The repeaters will return to normal operation outside these periods. The DMR network will be in emergency operations mode during the link periods. Any emergency or priority traffic may be reported at anytime. This year’s exercise will focus on the possible impact of a major earthquake.
