{"id":982,"date":"2018-10-10T07:15:19","date_gmt":"2018-10-10T11:15:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/scheart.us\/staging\/9284\/?p=982"},"modified":"2024-02-02T04:49:21","modified_gmt":"2024-02-02T09:49:21","slug":"hurricane-michael-operational-plan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scheart.us\/staging\/9284\/hurricane-michael-operational-plan\/","title":{"rendered":"Hurricane Michael Operational Plan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">October 11, 2018 @ 4:30 PM<\/span><\/p>\n<p>At 4:30 PM the SCHEART system is returned to normal operational status.\u00a0 Hurricane Michael produced strong winds, heavy rains and some isolated flooding.\u00a0 Thanks to all amateur operators who checked in on the Healthcare net and\u00a0 to those who provided reports to the SEOC during the event.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">October 10, 2018 @ 08:00 PM<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The SCHEART Statewide analog link is being established at 08:00 PM at the request of the ARRL SEC in possible support for Hurricane Michael&#8217;s arrival tonight.\u00a0 Net management will revert to SCEMD at 07:00 on October 11th.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">October 10, 2018 @12:30 PM<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Hurricane Michael is starting to impact parts of South Carolina as outer bands bring rain and increasing winds.\u00a0 The storm&#8217;s major impact will be felt early on Thursday with windy conditions and periods of heavy rain.\u00a0 The center track of the storm is projected for the midlands with 3 to 6 inches of rain.\u00a0 There is a possibility of tornadoes and power outages.<\/p>\n<p>SCEMD will be monitoring the SCHEART network starting at 0700 Thursday morning and continuing through the day for damage reporting around the state.\u00a0 ARES\/RACES members should monitor their local Tactical Frequencies and SCHEART through the day.<\/p>\n<p>The normal SCHEART Healthcare net will take place at 0900.\u00a0 This will be an abbreviated net targeted to healthcare facilities and agencies.\u00a0 Operators who support these facilities and members of PHRC are encouraged to check in.\u00a0 General amateur check ins will not be taken during the net.<\/p>\n<p>After the net, SCEMD will reconfigure the SCHEART system to allow for statewide monitoring of conditions and receiving damage reports until the threat passes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>October 11, 2018 @ 4:30 PM At 4:30 PM the SCHEART system is returned to normal operational status.\u00a0 Hurricane Michael produced strong winds, heavy rains and some isolated flooding.\u00a0 Thanks to all amateur operators who checked in on the Healthcare net and\u00a0 to those who provided reports to the SEOC during the event.
